Make It Up Monday – Bang Baby! Welcome to 2019 Beauty Trends

2019 Beauty Trends

Happy NEW YEAR Lash Lovers, I hope you’re all staring into 2019 bright-eyed and bushy-tailed like me! 2018 had wacky eyebrows, glitter hair parts and lovely lashes, but what does 2019 have in store for us? Let’s take a look shall we?

Hair Color

Hair has been mermaided and unicorned out, but this year will be the resurgence of LILAC hair. Oh how beautiful it is?!? Also, don’t turn away that grey, embrace it! Grey can be the new black. Call your hairdresser today to get on this hair color trend that will definitely blow up this year.

Baby Bangs

Bang Bang! Baby bangs will be getting a spotlight this year. Those long wispy bangs are so last year, so get on trend with the new shorter look. Then, you can let your eyebrow game really shine!

Makeup

On the daily, most women are minimalists at heart when it comes to makeup but when you want that one stand out feature, 2019 says try a bold lip paired with a barely there eye and foundation look. This statement will make any day memorable.

High shine will be creating quite the impact this year with a clear, glossy glow. Glam it up with eyelid and cheek strobing, but with a clear coat. Remember to try and wear your hair out of your face for fear of a sticky situation!

Lash Lifts

Lash Lifts are back in front! If you have the time and the means, do your lashes this favor and create a curl that has an instant WOW effect! GladGirl has got you covered in this area, contact a lash tech near you by using the search on the Lash and Brow Artist Directory and pump up those lashes today!

I have a feeling that beauty, as always, will be an interesting thing to watch this year. From makeup to hair to skincare, these trends will surely keep us looking amazing in 2019. What’s on your trend radar?
